Today, it was publicly announced that the listed media company News55 is merging with Dagens PS, a Swedish news site with a big focus on business and entrepreneurship.

This deal will be the foundation of an independent media house that will have a significant reach.
"I am thrilled that we have found each other. The merger gives us an opportunity to be proactive in a media climate where everyone is playing defensively," says Fredrik Lundberg. Fredrik will remain as CEO after the merger.
Mikael Gullström, formerly CEO of Dagens PS, now takes on the pivotal roles of Editor-in-Chief and Head of Business and Technology Development.
